Pokemon GO Evolution items!

Hello Trainers!
We think, few of us would disagree that the big Pokemon Go update 0.57.2 (Android) and 1.27.2 (iOS) has made the game more exciting. In addition, the new evolution items have added more variety to the game: now your pokemon will have one more reason to be that more precious to you, since the evolution items are quite hard to get at this point in time.
The update has offered 5 evolution items that can evolve 8 pokemons, of course, let's not forget that we need some candy also to complete the evolution process. Let's check out the items and the pokemons they evolve:
- Metal Coat evolves Scyther into Scizor, Onix into Steelix.
- King's Rock evolves Poliwhirl into Politoed, Slowpoke into Slowking.
- Sun Stone evolves Gloom into Bellossom, Sunkern into Sunflora.
- Dragon Scale evolves Seadra into Kingdra.
- Upgrade evolves Porygon into Porygon 2.
Gamers have already figured out how to find the evolution items and it's mainly from the pokestops. We know that you can't buy them from the pokeshop yet, who knows maybe in the future? Some people got the evolution items from the 7 day streak quest, and the probability to get one was quite high after the big game update, but since then, it seems that Niantic has dramatically changed the percentage, and it's not clear now if you can get any items from the 7 day quest.
What is the probability to get an evolution item from the pokestop you ask? This question bothered all of us since the update, and after extensive number crunching it seems that new evolution items are by far some of the most difficult items to obtain. The chance to get an evolution item is about 0.03% from the total amount of the items that you can find at Pokestops.
Some people have gotten several evolution items (the Gods of RNG are strong within these ones), others haven't got anything yet, at Pogostop we span about 3k pokestops and we got nothing yet. Seems like something that Niantic could adjust in the not so distant future, what do you think guys? Tell us on Twitter and Facebook if you already got an item yourself.
Lower you can see a breakdown of the evolution items and the pokemon they are evolving, and of course the future evolution items that could be available in the game!
